The course is designed as a self-study learning activity, in which you will progress through the content at your own pace at a time and place convenient to you.

Classroom Menu:

After you enter the classroom of this course, you will see the following items are listed in the main window:

  • Enter Course: opening the course cover page.

  • Course Syllabus: Displaying information about the course provided by the Course Instructors.

  • Review Your Progress: Allowing you to review your progress in the course.

  • Review Your Grades: Allowing you to review your assessment test grades and non-assessment grades in the course.

  • Display Your Class Ranking: Displaying your ranking in the course based upon your assessment test scores.

  • Enter Course Conference: Allowing you to read and/or exchange messages with fellow students, course instructors and administrators.

To review the detailed explanation of each item, click on Help in the left menu.

How to Navigate through the Course:

At the upper right corner of the screen, you will see the following options:

  • Previous and Next Buttons moves you backward or forward one topic at a time through the course in a linear fashion.

  • Back on Track returns you to the first lesson (in the sequential list of lessons) that has not been completed.

  • Table of Contents allows you to proceed through the course in a random order and monitor your progress.

  • Help brings up the detailed explanation of how to use the features in the course.

Glossary:

The Glossary button on the top of the screen links to the course glossary with terms organized in alphabetical order. Simply click on the appropriate letter to access terminology and definitions.

How to Print the Course Content:

  1. If you use Internet Explorer, right click on the content you want to print. Then, select Print from the popup menu. When the Print window appears, check "Only the selected frame" in the "Print frame section". Click OK.
  2. If you use Netscape Communicator, click on the content you want to print. Then, click Print in the top Navigation Toolbar. Click OK.
